LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) announced the expansion of its advocacy team with the addition of Liz McQuillen, who will serve as Director of Government Affairs and Public Policy. McQuillen will oversee GLI’s six issue committees, work with GLI’s Public Policy Council to create local, state, and federal agendas, build relationships with elected officials and pursue pro-business policies.
Most recently, McQuillen served as a Legislative Aide for Louisville Metro Councilman Rick Blackwell where she served as a liaison between the Councilman and the 12th district for over nine years. She managed all constituent relationships, drafted local ordinance language and built consensus among Metro Council members on key priorities.
As a non-profit, non-partisan organization, GLI advocates for a wide range of policies and takes positions on community issues to ensure continued economic growth for the 15-county Greater Louisville region.
