FRANKFORT, Ky. — Two state businesses have filed notice with the state they are making significant jobs reductions.
Quanex Building Products in Madison County is closing while Packers Sanitation Services (PSSI) in Western Kentucky is reducing head counts in two locations, in Daviess and Graves counties.
Quanex is a general contractor. Its building product solutions include flexible and rigid insulating glass spacers, vinyl profiles, window and door screens, cabinet components, fenestration components, vinyl extrusions, rubber extrusions, kitchen cabinet components, bathroom components, woodwork, millwork, custom mixing, sealants and beyond.
PSSI provides food safety solutions in North America, offering comprehensive sanitation services, chemical products, pest management, and intervention solutions for food processing facilities.
